Over the years, I spent far too many hours and dollars building "bespoke" custom keyboards. I lubed, soldered, and tested hundreds of switches in search of the perfect "thock" on every keystroke. Currently I use a Jelly Epoch with JWK Cobalt switches (not pictured above). While I haven't been in the hobby for a few years, one of my goals in the near future is to refresh my current keyboard with new parts.
Some of my earliest PCB experience came from modding old handheld consoles I grew up with, soldering, tinkering, and what not. I still love messing with retro hardware today and find any excuse to use them. Pictured is a Nintendo GBA SP I bought broken and repaired myself, modified with a modern IPS display and a USB-C charging port.
I'm proud of this one.
